Jimmy Spencer's last-gasp strike denied Northampton maximum points against Cambridge as they drew 1-1.
Leaders Northampton broke the deadlock after 71 minutes at Sixfields when John Marquis converted a corner from Joel Byrom.
But there was late drama as Spencer lashed in a half-volley in time added on to earn Cambridge a point.
