Dagenham failed to lift themselves off the bottom of the Sky Bet League 2 table after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Carlisle.
Despite a frantic start, it took 25 minutes for either stopper to be tested with Carlisle's Hallam Hope forcing a good save from Liam O'Brien with an effort inside the box.
The hosts also went close through Josh Passley in the 30th minute, but his 18-yard effort was well saved by Mark Gillespie.
Daggers were fortunate not to go into half-time a goal down after O'Brien twice denied Charlie Wyke from close range in the 43rd minute.
The hosts came out firing for the second half with Christian Doidge only denied by a stunning Gillespie stop in the 46th minute.
Despite more chances, neither side were able to find a telling breakthrough to take all three points which left the Daggers rooted to the bottom while Carlisle moved to within two points of the play-offs.
