Dagenham failed to lift themselves off the bottom of the Sky Bet League 2 table after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Carlisle.

Despite a frantic start, it took 25 minutes for either stopper to be tested with Carlisle's Hallam Hope forcing a good save from Liam O'Brien with an effort inside the box.

The hosts also went close through Josh Passley in the 30th minute, but his 18-yard effort was well saved by Mark Gillespie.

Daggers were fortunate not to go into half-time a goal down after O'Brien twice denied Charlie Wyke from close range in the 43rd minute.
