Exeter have signed Bournemouth striker Jayden Stockley on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has scored two goals in 12 appearances while on loan at Portsmouth this season and joins the Grecians ahead of their trip to Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday.

Stockley told his new club's website: "I'm really looking forward to getting started here. It's been great to get the loan sorted, and now that I'm signed until the end of the season, it's good to be able to focus on the football.

"The manager sold the club very well to me and the style of football that we play here. I've come up against Exeter already this season while with Portsmouth and they were really impressive.

"It's a team that I wanted to be a part of, and one that I wanted to see do very well. They beat us at Fratton Park and the lads were really impressed with how they played."
