Brighton's consistent presence in defence. Potter has chopped and changed the line-up, and moved between and back four and a back three or five, but captain Dunk is always the first name on the team sheet.
A wonderful debut goal against West Ham in August promised much for Trossard, who arrived as a big-money signing from Belgium in the summer. He has not quite lived up to those early expectations but has still impressed in fits and bursts.
Scored after coming off the bench on his debut, and is Brighton's top scorer this season with eight goals in the Premier League. Has struggled a little for form in the second half of the campaign.
Worthy of a nomination just for his performance against Tottenham in October, alone. His two goals in that game saw him called up to the Republic of Ireland squad shortly after, and only turned 20 in January. Will be a big player in the future.
Rarely grabs the headlines due to his lack of goals, but does a vital job for Brighton in the middle of the park and understands the philosophies behind Potter's system. His performances are massively appreciated by those who watch him every week.
Usually a centre-back, Burn has proved his worth as a left-back under Potter at Brighton, even though his 6ft 7ins frame does not make him seem like a natural fit for the position. Has performed extremely well there, too.
