Chris Hughton focused on Brighton's game at Arsenal, not Cardiff

Chris Hughton says he will be trying to ignore Cardiff's game against Crystal Palace on Saturday and stay focused on Brighton's match at Arsenal a day later.
Cardiff will be relegated if they lose to Crystal Palace, or if they fail to better Brighton's result at the Emirates on Sunday live on Sky Sports Premier League.
The Seagulls are four points clear of Cardiff, who occupy the final relegation place with two games to go, and, with a vastly superior goal difference, they remain favourites to maintain their Premier League status for another season.
Speaking ahead of the game at Arsenal on Sunday, Hughton said: "I certainly can't you tell what will happen elsewhere. The only thing I can try and affect is our game at Arsenal and, as normal, we will set ourselves up to do the best we can and obviously try to get some type of result.
"That's the only one I can affect or try to affect, the other ones I can't. We'll obviously hear any results that have gone in our favour or against us but we can't afford to think that way, we can only afford to think of our own game.

"All our focus has to be on us and our preparation and result against Arsenal. There isn't anything else at the moment we can affect. No doubt we will hear the result of the [Cardiff] game. We will be away at the team hotel so I presume some might decide they want to watch it.
"But I prefer just to focus on our game against Arsenal.
"The message [to the players] is our preparation is about how we can go into a very difficult game at the Emirates and try to get a result.
"I think it's going to be impossible with what the lads have as regards phones and phone calls to not know the result and some may want to know the score-line as it goes along, but I prefer myself to focus on what is our important game."
Should the final relegation place not be decided this weekend, Brighton close their campaign at home to Manchester City on May 12, while Cardiff travel to Manchester United.
