Brighton have agreed a deal to sign Sweden U19 striker Viktor Gyokeres in January.
Gyokeres will sign a two-and-a-half year deal on January 1 to complete his move from IF Brommapojkarna and then link up with Albion's U23 squad.
The 19-year-old was joint-top scorer at this summer's European U19 Championship, tied on three goals with England's Ben Brereton and Ryan Sessegnon, and Joel Piroe of the Netherlands.
Brighton's U23 coach Simon Rusk said, "We are delighted that we've moved a big step closer to bringing Viktor into the squad.
"He is someone who has an impressive scoring record for his country at U19 level, and he will add good competition for places in the forward areas."
