Brighton are interested in taking Chelsea striker Izzy Brown on a season-long loan, according to Sky sources.

The 20-year-old shone on loan at fellow newly-promoted side Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship last season, and reports claim the Terriers are also keen to get him back for another year.

Brown scored four goals in 17 appearances for Huddersfield last term and played an instrumental part in their promotion to the Premier League.

But it appears he is still surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with Blues boss Antonio Conte prepared to loan him out again despite being set to lose Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid.

A product of Chelsea's academy, Brown is yet to start a senior game for the club, making just a single appearance from the subs bench.
