Head coach Jan Siewert believes Huddersfield can still avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Huddersfield are bottom of the table,13 points from safety and host Arsenal on Saturday.
Asked if it was inevitable Huddersfield would go down, Siewert said: "I don't agree at all. As long as it's mathematically possible, so there's everything possible in football.
"I said it right from the beginning, I still believe in it so I'm working for this. I think the way we're working gives me belief. Simple as that."
The last time Huddersfield beat Arsenal was 1971, 11 years before their new coach was born.

"Even in the history, Arsenal are a fantastic team," Siewert added.
"They are flexible in the way they play and this is a big challenge for us to play against them. I'm looking forward to it.
Huddersfield's head coach is aiming for a more attacking approach as he tries to get his first points and goals in English football.
"The most important thing for me is that there are many players in and around the box. The more aggressive you defend the more aggressive you attack. We had a lack of scoring and this is what I want to change".
The 36-year-old says he has seen lots of positives from his two games despite watching his side lose 5-0 against Chelsea.
"Even the Chelsea game I didn't like the result at all, but the way we created our first chances even before Chelsea had their first chance makes me positive.
"I realised when I came in the team just had 13 goals, so I'm thinking of working on it and this is what still keeps me positive."
