Huddersfield manager David Wagner has urged his side to go out and solve their own problems to get off the bottom of the table.
The German boss believes his players cannot wait for "presents" from other teams but must seize control and start getting wins on the board.
Huddersfield currently sit bottom of the Premier League after taking just two points from their opening seven games.
Speaking ahead of his side's upcoming fixture with Burnley, Wagner outlined the message he has been sending to his players, while admitting it is too early in the season to panic.
"A new game is a new chance and we have a new chance," said Wagner. "We have to make sure we are focused on ourselves, be focused on the performance, come back to the level we have shown last Saturday and the weeks before and it's only us that can turn it around.
"We can't wait for someone to give us a present or someone to do us a favour, it's not how it works, it's all about being focused on yourself and be aware that only you can turn it."
Wagner has revealed his selection of a starting XI has been hampered with a series of injuries, but promised to field a strong side.
"We have some injury problems unfortunately, Terence Kongolo will miss the game with a hamstring injury, he will be out for four to five weeks I think.
"Danny Williams and Ramadan Sobhi are still making recovery training and are not available. Hamid Sabiri has a knock on his ankle and will miss tomorrow's game, Tommy Smith has groin problems.
"I think he will be back for the game after the international break. Everyone else is available and I'm confident we will bring a strong starting XI.
Captain Christopher Schindler will also face a late fitness test before being deemed to face Burnley or not.
"There are so many good signs for me apart from the table and the points which we have after seven games." Wagner added.
"We have unity, the supporters are still strongly behind the team. Performances are on a very good level consistently, and we have the spirit in the dressing room. These things don't look like a team bottom of the league, but we are."
