More than 100 transfers were finalised on Wednesday, plenty of those being revealed after the 11pm deadline had passed.
But one that was finalised a little earlier in the evening saw Nottingham Forest complete a deal to sign Huddersfield midfielder Joe Lolley.
Lolley signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Sky Bet Championship side, but putting pen to paper was just one of the jobs the 25-year-old had to undertake on Wednesday.
