David Wagner says Huddersfield's transfer business may not be over, despite already spending more than £35m this summer

Huddersfield manager David Wagner has not ruled out more transfer activity at the club before the window closes.

The newly-promoted club have already brought in 10 new signings ahead of their first ever Premier League campaign, spending more than £35m in the process.

Huddersfield have had £1m and £1.5m offers turned down for Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom - who has rejected a new contract offer in anticipation of a third bid for his services - and Wagner has hinted there could be further comings and goings before Deadline Day.

"I will never say never," Wagner told Sky Sports News. "I think we have done good business so far.

"We were early and made the signings before pre-season started, this is what every manager is searching for.

"I am very happy with what we have done in the off-season, maybe there will be some ins and outs as well."

Wagner last week revealed Huddersfield were ready to listen to offers for Nahki Wells, but insists the striker's absence from their pre-season tour of Austria is not down to any potential move.

"He isn't with us here in Austria because of his ankle problems," Wagner added. "It could be he will have minor surgery, he has a screw in his ankle from an injury 10 weeks ago and now we think this [causes] his problem, so we have to get the screw out.

"We will have a better picture of him at the end of the week when he consults some specialists."
