Millwall boss Neil Harris does not want a repeat of the ugly scenes which ruined their last trip to Wembley.
The Lions reached the FA Cup semi-final in 2013 but their big day against Wigan was marred by fans fighting amongst themselves in the stands.
They head back to the national stadium on Sunday for the League One play-off final against Barnsley with Harris calling for a hostile - but trouble-free - atmosphere.
"My message to the fans is enjoy themselves, and bring the atmosphere that they brought to the two legs of the semi-final against Bradford," he said.
"I have been to Wembley and seen much worse but I am not condoning it.
"Bring a Millwall wall of noise, and a hostile atmosphere. But enjoy yourselves."
Millwall have worked tirelessly to improve their reputation as a club from the dark days of hooliganism in the 1980s.
Lions legend Harris was even invited to the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday night to celebrate 30 years of Millwall's work in the community.
"We have come a long way as a club," he added. "We do a lot of good work. It goes a little bit under the radar. The club has come a long way.
"Yes, bad press, of course, is still linked to the club at times. But I think that's society and football in general.
"Lord [Herman] Ouseley (chairman of anti-racism group Kick It Out) invited us to the House of Parliament to celebrate 30 good years in the community.
"There were a lot of memorable stories, and it was a fantastic night for our club and community to enjoy."
