Swansea finished the 2017/18 Premier League season in 18th place as they suffered relegation to the Championship.

Swansea's seven-year stay in the Premier League is over after a stormy season at the Liberty Stadium. Paul Clement was sacked just before Christmas with the club sitting bottom of the table after just three wins from 18 Premier League games, with his successor Carlos Carvalhal unable to guide them to safety.
The Portuguese made an impressive start, with a run of five wins from nine games between the end of December and the beginning of March lifting them out of the drop zone, but their form collapsed at the worst possible moment.
In the end, it all came down to Southampton's visit to the Liberty Stadium in the penultimate game of the season. A win could have saved the Swans, but instead, Manolo Gabbiadini's goal all-but confirmed their relegation.
Best day of 2017/18
The 3-1 win over Arsenal at the end of January, at which point it seemed Carvalhal would keep them up.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 1-0 defeat to Southampton last week was a hammer blow to their survival prospects.
Managerial review
They got a tune out of Carlos Carvalhal at the start - he started off on fire - but it hasn't happened since. The tough games caught up with them and they've been relegated. It's a shame.
Player of year
Alfie Mawson. He won't be there next season - not a chance.
2018/19 prospects
It depends what happens with the Ayew brothers. If they can keep hold of them, they'll get promoted.
