Carlos Carvalhal has admitted he will need to do some homework on Tottenham as the Swansea manager prepares to take charge of his first home game at the Liberty Stadium.
The Portuguese manager, appointed on a short-term contract until the end of the campaign on Thursday, will lead the Swans in his first home game in charge after their late 2-1 comeback victory over Watford on Saturday made it an excellent start for the former Sheffield Wednesday boss.
Carvahal will need to find a game plan to negate the threat of Spurs' attacking options which include record-breaking Harry Kane, a doubt for the match through illness, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen for Tuesday's match, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
"I must tell you know, in this moment I do not know anything about Tottenham because I know everything about the teams in the Championship," Carvalhal said in the post-match conference after the victory over Watford.
"In this moment I know everything about Watford because I had two days to prepare.
"But believe me when I go on the bus with my staff we will start to prepare the game against Tottenham and we will go deep to analyse (them).
"Maybe tomorrow if you ask me more I will know more. At this moment I know the general things; it is one thing to see a game on the TV and it is another thing to analyse a team very deeply."
Swansea were indebted to a stirring unlikely late fightback at Vicarage Road with goals from Jordan Ayew and substitute Luciano Narsingh sparking wild celebrations from the travelling supporters.
Oliver McBurnie, a second half substitute for the injured Tammy Abraham, proved to be another influential substitute by Carvalhal and the Swansea manager conceded Abraham's availability for the Spurs encounter is in doubt.
When asked whether the on-loan Chelsea striker could feature at the Liberty Stadium, Carvalhal said: "I don't know. Abraham didn't train in the first stage of yesterday (Friday) - he had a stomach problem.
"I pushed him a little bit to play and I was happy when he said he was ready. I even said to him even if it was to play 60 minutes because Oliver (McBurnie) can affect the game like he did.
"I hope that it is nothing too serious let's see tomorrow and Monday. It is not easy (the quick turnaround)."
