Swansea caretaker manager Leon Britton has urged his players to relish the challenge of facing free-scoring Liverpool at Anfield.
The Swans travel to face the Reds on Boxing Day, live on Sky Sports Premier League, and Britton is wary of the threat posed by Jurgen Klopp's side, who have scored 24 goals in their last seven games in all competitions.
"They are a team that are in a rich vein of form. You look at their front players and the amount of goals they score, it is right up there with the best forward lines in the Premier League," said Britton.
"It is very tough when you go up to Anfield, I've experienced it as a player. It is a tough place to go - the way they play their football, the way they press, the high intensity that they work at.
"It will be a very difficult test for us going up there but the players have got to relish that and look forward to it.
"It is a test and as a player you want to be tested."
Swansea claimed a shock 3-2 victory in their last visit to Anfield, thanks to goals from Fernando Llorente (2) and Gylfi Sigurdsson, and Britton is hoping a repeat result can inspire the club in their fight against relegation.
"It was a huge turning point," said Britton. "When you go to one of the so-called bigger clubs and perform like that and get the result - especially in the position we were in, with the confidence low.
"All of a sudden you go to those places, whether it is Anfield, Manchester United, Manchester City, and win. Straight away the confidence is up.
"It had a big effect. It really kick-started our season."
Both Llorente and Sigurdsson left the Liberty Stadium during the summer transfer window and Britton has urged his other forward players to make an impression in their absence.
"Those two players are not here. When players leave it is down to others to step up and take the lead role. That is the way football works," he said.
"Players come and go. If we beat Liverpool on Boxing Day, it won't be Fernando, it won't be Gylfi but it might be someone else."
