Swansea manager Paul Clement was frustrated that his side could not hold on for at least a draw against West Ham.
Substitute Diafra Sakho came off the bench to score a late winner in West Ham's 1-0 victory over Swansea, which lifted them out of the relegation zone and dropped the Welsh club into 17th.
It was the second week running that Swansea have conceded a late winner as Richarlison secured Watford victory in the final minute last Saturday. So for Clement, the manner in which Swansea lost was difficult for him to take.
"We're clearly frustrated to concede a goal in the last minute," Clement said.
"Over the course of the game we were very much in it and we were the better side, particularly in the first half when we had good control of the game and got the ball forward in the attacking third.
"What was missing for us was the first and second bit of quality that you needed to convert good opportunities. I was much more pleased with the football we've played today but disappointed to come away with not at least a draw."
Clement believes his team were on top in the first half, and that they put the foundations in place to secure at least a point.
He added: "The only thing we didn't do was create a good opportunity in the first half.
"It was definitely a platform to build on in the second half. They came out and were more aggressive and motivated in the second half so it was more even. But it was very difficult and hard to take when you concede so late on."
