West Ham boss Slaven Bilic thinks recently-sacked Swansea boss Bob Bradley was extremely harshly treated.

Bradley was only appointed in October but was unable to arrest Swansea's slide and was fired in the wake of a 4-1 Boxing Day defeat to the Hammers at the Liberty Stadium.

His reign lasted just 85 days and he was in charge for only 11 games, managing just two wins and leaving with the Swans level on points with bottom club Hull.

However, when asked if Bradley got a fair chance, Bilic said: "No, he didn't.

"It was just a short space of time. You basically depend on luck, people are expecting you to do something in a couple of months, and that's not with the pre-season.

"You have a game in two days, then you have another in five days.

"He didn't have any chance, to be fair, apart from the fact that he won a few games."

The pressure on managers remains intense and Bilic thinks regular changes at the top cannot be good for any club.

"I'm not a fan of that kind of culture towards the managers," he added.

"I feel for all of the managers. I know he [Bradley] is a good manager, he's got a good CV, he's hard-working and he believes in himself.

"I saw them play with confidence in those games, which is hard, when you are down.

"To change so many managers in two years, if we are talking about Swansea, for me it is not the solution."

Bilic also revealed that Bradley was virtually resigned to his fate after Swansea fans jeered their team off the pitch on Monday.

"I wasn't shocked," said Bilic.

"We spoke after the game in his office and of course his whole life is in football. He was not shocked but disappointed, and so was I."
