Swansea City have completed the signing of Netherlands international Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder who has signed a three-year contract, returns to the Liberty Stadium on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell there last season.
"I'm very happy, from the first minute I felt at home," he told the club's official website. "We did very good in the second half of the season.
"If we play like that, we can aim for higher, and that's what we want. Hopefully some new strong players will come in to help us.
"It makes it easier for me as well, if a coach wants you. Mr Guidolin was surprised [at my ability]."
Fer originally joined the Welsh club on February 1 and made 11 appearances as Francesco Guidolin's side finished 12th in the Premier League.
After making his Swansea debut as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur, Fer's first start came in the 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 26-year-old ends a two-year spell at QPR, where he scored eight goals in 50 appearances following a switch from Norwich City.
