Swansea have confirmed the signing of striker Alberto Paloschi from Chievo.
The 26-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal and joins for an undisclosed fee, understood to be around £8m, becoming City's first arrival this month.
Paloschi and new head coach Francesco Guidolin worked together at Parma, and his other clubs include Milan, where he was given his debut by Carlo Ancelotti back in 2008.
Guidolin spoke openly about the 26-year-old earlier this week, saying: "He was my player when we worked together at Parma. He was a promising player but very young.
"He is a good player and a good guy, and will be important for us. I think he can help the team to get results and to score many, many goals.
"I asked my chairman if there was a possibility [of signing him] because I like him. I think he is a modern player and can play well in the Premier League, because he's strong and generous."
