South African to arrive next summer
Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal for South Africa's World Cup star Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Tshabalala, who scored the opening goal of last summer's World Cup finals, has been on trial at Forest and has impressed during his time at the City Ground.
A number of other Championship clubs were keen on having a look at Tshabalala, but Forest are eager to secure the winger's signature.
Forest are planning to sign the Kaizer Chiefs star in the summer with Tshabalala keen to end the season with his South African club.
The Championship hopefuls are in talks with Kaizer Chiefs about agreeing a deal which will see Tshabalala make the move to Nottingham for the start of next season.
