Mark Warburton has been appointed as the new manager of Nottingham Forest.
Warburton has been out of work since departing Scottish Premiership side Rangers, along with his assistant David Weir and director of football Frank McParland, in acrimonious circumstances in February.
Former Everton and Rangers defender Weir continues his working relationship with Warburton after being named as his assistant. McParland joined Forest as director of football at the beginning of the month.
Warburton is understood to have already commenced work at the City Ground and met his new players on Tuesday morning before taking training.
Forest sacked Frenchman Philippe Montanier in January and appointed academy coach Gary Brazil on a contract until the end of the season after failing to agree a deal with former Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett.
Rowett has since taken the managerial post at Forest's neighbours Derby County after being approached by the Rams following the sacking of Steve McClaren.
Forest have won only one of their last seven matches and sit in 19th place in the Sky Bet Championship, just two points above the relegation zone.
Warburton's first match in charge of Forest will be the East Midlands derby at The City Ground on Saturday.
