Relegation rivals Chesterfield and Fleetwood cancelled each other out in a disappointing goalless draw at the Proact Stadium.
There were few clear chances on a blustery afternoon although Ollie Banks went close in the first half for Chesterfield while Ashley Hunter fired straight at Tommy Lee near the end.
Chesterfield came close to scoring with the first move of quality in the 25th minute when Jay O'Shea's pass inside sent Banks into the area but his chip drifted just over the bar.
Fleetwood failed to capitalise on some good openings and almost conceded in the 45th minute when Lee Novak just failed to connect with O'Shea's cross.
O'Shea fired just over in the 57th minute and Gboly Ariyibi had a shot deflected behind when Fleetwood failed to clear a corner before Hunter fired just over for Fleetwood.
Hunter shot straight at Lee in the 86th minute and Keano Deacon turned a Devante Cole cross wide three minutes later before Banks fired over in the final minute of stoppage time.
