Leeds defender Pontus Jansson has been charged by the Football Association for comments he made after Leeds' draw with Brentford on October 6.
The Swedish 27-year-old scored an 88th-minute equaliser as the Sky Bet Championship match ended 1-1 but he was unhappy with referee Jeremy Simpson's decision to award the Bees a second-half penalty, which Neal Maupay scored.
Jansson, speaking to Sky Sports in his on-pitch post-match interview, said: "I feel s*** to be fair."
When asked to mind his language, he added: "I don't care, this was a robbery from the referee so it feels bad.
"Do you think I should be happy? No chance."
In a statement posted on Twitter on Monday, the FA said: "Leeds United's Pontus Jansson has been charged following the game against Brentford on 06/10/18.
"It is alleged his comments in a post-match interview were abusive and/or insulting and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute. He has until 6pm on 17/10/18 to respond."
Leeds, who are third in the Championship, return to league action when they travel to Blackburn on Saturday.
