Leeds United have completed the signing of Mateusz Klich from FC Twente on a three-year contract.
On Thursday, Sky Sports News HQ reported that the clubs had agreed a deal for the 27-year-old, and that he was undergoing a medical.
The Polish central midfielder, who enjoyed a successful season in the Eredivisie last year, has joined the club for an undisclosed fee and is head coach Thomas Christiansen's first signing.
Klich joined Twente from German side Kaiserslautern last summer and is understood to have been a name recommended to the Leeds hierarchy by former boss Garry Monk before Klich's move to the Netherlands.
Monk is now manager at Championship promotion rivals Middlesbrough, while Leeds appointed Christiansen as their new head coach last week.
Klich scored six goals in 29 appearances for Twente last season as the team finished seventh.
He began his career at Cracovia in Poland before a move to Wolfsburg in 2011. He was then sent out on loan to PEC Zwolle on two occasions before joining Kaiserslautern in 2015.
