Supporters of Leeds and Newcastle will pay tribute to Gary Speed when they meet in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend.
With the fifth anniversary of his death approaching, both sets of fans will honour the memory of their former player in the 11th minute at Elland Road on Sunday.
Fourteen years of Speed's 22-year playing career were split between Leeds and Newcastle, and he wore the No 11 shirt for both.
The Wales midfielder was part of Howard Wilkinson's title-winning side in 1992 and reached successive FA Cup finals with Newcastle after joining from Everton in 1998.
A Leeds statement read: "Members of the Speed family will be in attendance at Elland Road on Sunday.
"In the 11th minute of the match we ask supporters of both Leeds United and Newcastle United to join together in a minute's applause as we near the fifth anniversary of Gary's passing."
Speed went into management after he quit playing in 2010 and was approaching a year in charge of Wales at the time of his death in November 2011, aged 42.
