Marco Silva admits it has been a difficult week for relegated Hull, but believes the team and players have improved in recent months.
Defeat at Crystal Palace condemned the Tigers to spend next season in the Championship, with the Humberside club preparing to entertain Tottenham on Sunday.
Silva replaced Mike Phelan as manager of Hull in January but, despite some excellent results at home, he was unable to prevent an immediate return to tier two of English football.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's final fixture of the season, Silva said: "Of course the disappointment and frustration is still felt, because we didn't achieve our goal of staying up.
"It's a time to analyse and I think we have improved collectively and we have improved as individuals as well.
"But we didn't achieve our big goal and that is frustrating and disappointing.
"I think it's been a hard week for us but we'll try to finish the season well. It's the moment we try to give one good result to our fans in the last game."
Looking ahead, Silva added: "It's important to understand why the things happened and to learn for the next time, don't make the same mistakes.
"The club need to do everything that is possible to come again as fast as possible to the Premier League.
"It's clear to me the fantastic supporters deserve that, the players and the team deserve as well.
"I think that the club needs to think fast for the answer to get the club back in the Premier League."
