Marco Silva is confident Hull City can avoid relegation from the Premier League and says his side are preparing for "six big fights".
The Tigers, who lost 3-1 at Manchester City on Saturday, have six games remaining to secure their top-flight status.
They remain one place and two points above the relegation zone after their latest defeat, with a trip to Stoke next weekend.
It means they still control their own destiny, with just one of their final six games against a team currently positioned in the top eight.
"The next six games we must keep our goal in our hands," Silva said. "We need to fight and work hard.
"First we rest, analyse and prepare the next game because for us there are six big fights. Since I came [to Hull] I came with confidence.
"I try to pass that on to my players and we believe in our capacity. The others have good players and good teams as well and there's a big fight until the end."
An Ahmed Elmohamady own goal handed Man City a half-time lead at the Etihad and they doubled their advantage through Sergio Aguero two minutes after the restart.
Fabian Delph added a third for the hosts before Andrea Ranocchia scored a late consolation but Silva felt the match changed on Aguero's strike.
"It's the key," the Hull coach said. "They deserved to win the game. In the first half we tried to control a little bit more the organisation of the opponent. In some moments we did well.
"It was a really unlucky goal we conceded. We reacted well after the first goal. In the 10 minutes we had a good chance to score as well.
"When you change things at half-time, we tried to play a little more high pressure and in the first minutes of the second half they scored the second goal. This was the key."
Jesus Navas and Raheem Sterling caused problems for Hull throughout the match and Silva admitted his side failed to deal with Man City's right flank.
"We had problems, more in the first half but in the second half as well," he continued. "We prepared and you know Navas is really offensive. Our left side today was not the best."
