Hull City have agreed a £3m fee with Watford for midfielder Adlene Guedioura, according to Sky sources.
There had been reports that Aston Villa had been linked with the Algerian international earlier in the January transfer window.
But with Deadline Day looming, the Tigers appear to be very close to securing the 31-year-old, who has previously played for Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
He had a two-year spell at Molineux before switching to Forest and then to Palace in 2013 and Watford in February 2015.
Guedioura has featured for the Hornets in the Premier League 12 times and last played in the weekend's 1-0 defeat at Millwall.
