Watch as Paul Merson gives his thoughts on Bournemouth's 6-1 hammering of Hull City.
Three goals in each half saw Eddie Howe's classy Cherries tear Hull apart at the Vitality Stadium, with Junior Stanislas bagging a brace and striker Callum Wilson getting a late goal that his excellent performance deserved.
Charlie Daniels, Steve Cook and Dan Gosling also found the net in the south coast rout, while Ryan Mason's fortuitous deflected strike in the first half was the only glimmer of hope for Hull in a game where they struggled to compete from first to last.
Hull had gone into the game boosted by the news of a permanent deal for manager Phelan, who had taken charge of the club's initial seven games on a caretaker basis.
But it took just five minutes for them to fall behind and if anything Phelan's team were lucky it didn't get worse.
So what did Soccer Saturday pundit Merson think about Hull's capitulation? And just how impressed was he by Howe's Bournemouth? Click on the video at the top of this article to find out.
