Ahmed Elmohamady has committed to a future at newly-promoted Hull City after signing a new three-year deal, subject to a work permit.
The Egyptian international, who has been with Hull since August 2012, was due to see his contract with the club expire this week.
However, after four weeks of negotiations and reported interest from other top-flight clubs, the 30-year-old player has secured his future at the KCOM stadium until 2019.
"I'm delighted and pleased to be here for another three years," said Elmohamady.
"I've been here for four years now and it has been a great four years. My mind is now on the next three years with this club and the fans, and the big challenge ahead.
"We're back in the Premier League now and we can't wait to get started again."
Elmohamady has made over 180 appearances for Steve Bruce's side since arriving, initially on loan, from Sunderland.
Hull paid Sunderland £2m to make the move permanent in June 2013 and Elmohamady has gone on to win promotion to the Premier League twice with the club.
