Barnsley have signed Saidy Janko from Celtic on loan until the end of the current campaign.
The 20-year-old right-sided player has featured seven times in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers' side this term.
Head coach Paul Heckingbottom is pleased to have secured the former Manchester United man's services.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to welcome Saidy to Oakwell as he represents a huge signing for the football club.
"Not only has he progressed through one of the most prestigious youth systems in England at Manchester United, but he's also performed on some of the biggest stages in European football."
Barnsley later brought in 20-year-old Spanish defender Julio Rodriguez from Sporting Gijon.
