Newly-promoted Barnsley get their 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season underway with a trip to Ipswich on August 6.
Last year's League One play-off champions then enjoy home fixtures against Derby and QPR before travelling to Huddersfield on August 20.
The first Yorkshire derby against Leeds arrives on October 1 at Elland Road and Sheffield Wednesday away falls on December 13.
They host Leeds on January 21 before home games against Huddersfield on February 25 and Sheffield Wednesday on April 1.
Barnsley finish the season with a trip to Newcastle on May 7.
