Leicester City are giving away 60 free season tickets for the 2018/19 season to celebrate chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's 60th birthday on Wednesday.

All of the seats will be selected at random and one winner from each stand will be announced at the King Power Stadium during half-time of Saturday's Premier League game against Newcastle. The remaining 56 winners will be informed in the following days.

Alongside this, fans attending Saturday's fixture will be offered a free beer or water as part of the celebration.

Under the ownership of the Thai-based company, which bought the club in 2010, Leicester won the Championship title in 2014 and went on to avoid Premier League relegation a year later.

The following season, Leicester achieved one of the biggest sporting upsets in recent years - overcoming odds of 5,000-1 to be crowned Premier League champions for the first time in the club's history.

As a result, the Foxes reached the quarter-final stages of the Champions League, where they were knocked out by Spanish side Sevilla, in the next campaign.

"It's a journey that would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Leicester City fans," the club said in a statement.
