Jamie Vardy picked up an ankle injury in Leicester's 2-0 win over Brighton but Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare expects him to be "fine".

The England forward limped off in stoppage time at the King Power Stadium and had to strap the joint with ice at full-time.

Shakespeare said: "I have just left ward ten in there with a few receiving treatment. I will go and see how he is shortly but, knowing Jamie, he will be fine.

"Jamie obviously had a few tussles today and has an ankle heavily strapped with an ice pack on it. He does have those battles but we wouldn't change him, would we?"

Vardy was replaced by Demarai Gray after goals from Shinji Okazaki and Harry Maguire ensured victory over the newly-promoted Seagulls.
