Claudio Ranieri praises Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi after Leicester beat Everton

Claudio Ranieri was impressed with the impact made by substitute Ahmed Musa after he scored twice to give Leicester a 2-1 victory at Everton in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The summer signing has struggled to impress since joining from CSKA Moscow, but he proved the match-winner at Goodison Park after coming off the bench to replace Leonardo Ulloa.
First, he cancelled out Romelu Lukaku's 63rd-minute opener, bundling the ball over the line from close range, then five minutes later he exchanged passes with Danny Drinkwater before beating Everton keeper Joel Robles with a right-foot strike.
It was Leicester's first away victory in all domestic competitions this season and Musa's contribution was particularly pleasing for manager Ranieri, who gave a debut to recent signing Wilfred Ndidi.
"Musa was excellent. I've watched him recently and think he is starting to understand English football better," said Ranieri.

"Ndidi trained just two training sessions with us but played with fantastic personality. He recovered a lot of balls and played well. For 20 years old to make his first game against Everton, it's unbelievable."
Ranieri selected a strong side and the Italian was rewarded with one of Leicester's best away performances of the season.
"I'm very pleased with our performance," said Ranieri. "We wanted to win and we wanted to go through in the FA Cup, which is an important competition.
"Then [we wanted to go through] even more because we lost to Everton at home, so we wanted revenge.
"It was a good match because of course at the beginning Everton pushed a lot and wanted to score a goal, but I'm very pleased with our performance before and after the goal.
"When we conceded a goal, everybody wanted to react immediately. After there were chances for them and us, but it was a very good performance."
