Jamie Vardy has been named Barclays Premier League Player of the Season.
The Leicester striker adds the annual prize to the Football Writers' Association award he collected at a ceremony in London on Thursday night.
Vardy was one of five City players on a 10-man shortlist for a trophy inaugurated in 1995, when Alan Shearer was the winner.
Three Tottenham players and one each from West Ham and Arsenal were the others to miss out.
Vardy still has the Golden Boot to go for and heads into the final day a goal behind Harry Kane and level with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero on 24.
Beyond that there is Euro 2016, and Vardy says going to a major tournament with England could top even his Premier League success with Leicester.
"That would be the pinnacle of this season for me," he said, speaking at the Football Writers' Association dinner.
"Representing your country at any time is an honour, but to be in a tournament and hopefully be a part of something big happening - it can only be one of the best things ever."
Vardy this week said he is happy to stay at Leicester and called on his team-mates to stay for a crack at next season's Champions League.
