Leicester are Premier League 'pioneers,' says Wes Morgan

Wes Morgan believes Leicester have been "pioneers" in the Premier League this season, no matter how their story ends.
The Foxes have enjoyed a remarkable campaign which sees them top of the Premier League table with just ten games to go.
This time last term they were bottom and eight points adrift but despite being held by West Brom in midweek, Tottenham's defeat to West Ham means Claudio Ranieri's side stretched their lead to three points.
Club captain Wes Morgan insists his team-mates remain focused on finishing the job but thinks their charge can help inspire other teams to compete with the traditional heavyweights.
"We're not disheartened about the result [against West Brom]," Morgan told Sky Sports News HQ ahead of a Saturday Night Football clash with Watford. "We're still in a relatively good position.

"We just have to focus on our jobs, keep doing what we can and take each game as it comes.
"But regardless of what happens at the end of the season I think Leicester probably set a new trend in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports.
"We've proved a lot of people wrong, we've changed the mindsets of a lot of people. People have been used to seeing the same teams at the top battling for the title and they've come accustomed to the same four-five teams that's going to be challenging for the title.
"We've changed that and are proud to have done that. It might be the signs of things to come. People will be looking to us as the pioneers to show what they can do and make a difference to the way the Premier League is."
Morgan believes Ranieri deserves praise for the work he has done since taking over from Nigel Pearson at the end of last season and explained just what the Italian has changed at the King Power Stadium.
"He knows what he wants," Morgan said of Ranieri.
"He puts it across in a funny manner and when the time is to get serious he gets very, very serious.
"In terms of what he's done that's different to Nigel, he's trying to keep it the same. He understood that off the back of last season when we avoided relegation, the way we did that, he wanted to keep the formula and keep it the same so he's adjusted it.
"He's tinkered a bit in terms of tactical positioning, and our shape and formation, but by and large he's tried to keep the positive feeling, keep us moving in the right direction and he's been fantastic."
Leicester travel to Vicarage Road to play 12th-placed Watford on Saturday night - live on Sky Sports - and Morgan is expecting a tough test.
"They're [Watford] in a good position right now and I'm sure they'll want to build on that," he said.
"That's another team that's come from the lower league and shown that they can perform at the highest level. We know how good they can be, we can't take them for granted and I expect it to be a tough game."
