Record-setting Leicester forward Jamie Vardy says he is very happy at the King Power and believes the club matches his own ambitions.
The 28-year-old England international set a new Premier League record on Saturday when he scored for the 11th game in row, during a 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United.
And Vardy's prolific goal-scoring exploits and dynamic style of play have led to reports regularly linking him with some of the bigger clubs in the top flight.
But Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has always been adamant that Vardy is going nowhere, and the forward told Sky Sports News HQ that he is in no hurry to move.
Asked if he thought Leicester's ambitions match his own, Vardy said: "Yes I do. I think the gaffer has come in and told the owners what he wants to do, and he wants to keep progressing.
"He wants to progress on what we did last year and then, in the years to come, he wants to keep us going up and up and up. It is great for the club and he is a great manager.
"He comes across as quite funny sometimes because he has not got the full English language yet but he is brilliant for the players and the club in general."
Leicester are second in the table, only behind Manchester City on goal difference, and Vardy does not see why they cannot remain among the top clubs.
"I think we can but we have to make sure we keep putting in the work on the training field," he said.
"The boss says the target is 40 points, which the team understands perfectly, and that is our target too.
"Once we get there, depending on when that is, we will re-evaluate to see where we can finish. We will take each game as it comes and the next one is Swansea City away [on Saturday]."
Asked what it was like to set a new Premier League record, Vardy said: "It is an unbelievable feeling. I am over the moon with what has happened but I think it shows collectively how well the team is doing as well.
"I had a little time to let it sink in yesterday [Sunday], but today we are back on that training field and seeing how we can hopefully beat Swansea at the weekend."
The Leicester fans were singing 'Jamie Vardy's having a party' on Saturday, but the former Fleetwood striker says his celebrations were more restrained.
"I went for a nice quiet meal," he said. "A few friends and then back to mine for an hour and that was it.
"There is no time to party, there is a long way to go until the end of the season!"
The next target for Vardy is Jimmy Dunne's mark, the Irishman having once scored in 12 consecutive games in the English top flight for Sheffield United in 1931-32.
But Vardy said: "I just have my eyes on helping Leicester get three points at the weekend.
"If someone else gets the winning goal, then I am more than happy."
