Coventry supporters halted their side's League One game against Sheffield United on Thursday night as protests continued against the club's owners.
Fans brandishing anti-Sisu banners invaded the pitch with around five minutes to play, briefly forcing off both sets of players.
The game was 1-1 at the time, and when play eventually resumed Billy Sharp quickly scored his second goal of the evening to give the visitors all three points.
Groups of Coventry supporters have been campaigning for Sisu, the hedge fund which owns the club, to sell up after nine years.
The Sky Blues were relegated from the Championship on Sisu's watch and spent a period away from the Ricoh Arena after a dispute with the stadium's owners.
Thursday night's defeat left them in the League One relegation places.
