Norwich City have announced the signing of Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani on a season-long loan.
The deal, which is pending the approval of a work permit, comes with an option to buy the DR Congo international.
Mbokani scored 19 times in 46 matches for the Ukrainian giants after joining the club in June 2013.
Norwich boss Alex Neil said the 29-year-old, who also won the Belgian First Division title twice with both Standard Liege and Anderlecht, is an "exciting signing" for the club.
"Dieumerci is going to give us competition at the top end of the pitch, and I think we've needed a bit of strengthening there," Neil told www.canaries.co.uk.
"He's a big, strong No 9 – he can take the ball in, he's mobile and he's a real threat in the box. We're hoping all of those things come together for him.
"He's got a good track record and he's played Champions League football, so I think it's an exciting signing for us."
