Norwich will again be without suspended midfielder Alex Tettey for the visit of Nottingham Forest as he completes a two-match ban.

Youssouf Mulumbu, who had been away on international duty at the African Nations Cup, came back into the side for the midweek 2-2 draw at Wigan.

Forward Steven Naismith has been out with a hamstring injury, so will be assessed, while winger Matt Jarvis is closing in on a first appearance of the season following knee surgery and then a hamstring problem.

Midfielders Graham Dorrans (knee) and Louis Thompson (Achilles) continue their recoveries.

Forest will check on Jack Hobbs after he missed last weekend's dramatic late win against Aston Villa with a hamstring injury.

Fellow central defender Matt Mills is also making progress with his groin problem, but remains a doubt.

On-loan Villa pair Ross McCormack and Aaron Tshibola will both be available to make their debuts for the Reds, having been ineligible against their parent club.

Joe Worrall, Thomas Lam, Gboly Ariyibi, Joao Teixeira, Hildeberto Pereira and Apostolos Vellios all got some valuable minutes under their belts as the under-23 side lost 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday this week and they will be hoping to be involved in the squad at Carrow Road.
