Norwich have signed Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old joins the Championship side on a deal which includes an option to buy at the end of the loan arrangement.
Dijks came through Ajax's youth system and made his senior debut for the club in 2012, helping the Amsterdam side win their Eredivisie title for the 32nd time.
He spent a season on loan with Heerenveen and joined Willem II in the summer of 2014 before returning to Ajax in 2015.
"I'm really excited, it's a fantastic club with great people," Dijks told Norwich City TV after completing the move.
"I'm hungry to play. To get to the Premier League with Norwich, that's my first goal and I'm excited to do that step."
City boss Alex Neil added: "This is one where we've had to work hard to get it over the line but for us it's a bit of a coup.
"He's played Champions League football and he's really highly thought of. He wasn't playing this season at Ajax, and that gave us an opportunity.
"He'll bring size and stature; he's six feet four inches tall, strong and athletic. I think all of those qualities are certainly things that will add to the squad."
