Sunderland have missed out on the loan signing of Steven Naismith.
The Black Cats were keen to take the Norwich forward on loan but it is believed the deal fell through on personal terms.
The 29-year-old is currently training with the Scotland squad during the on-going international break.
Naismith has been at Carrow Road since January, having moved there on a free transfer from Everton.
