Robbie Brady lost two teeth in a nasty clash of heads with team-mate Gary O'Neil in Norwich's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old was going for a header before colliding with the midfielder, leaving a bloodied gash on O'Neil's forehead.
Boss Alex Neil, who also saw Alex Tettey substituted with a first half injury, said O'Neil required stitches to his forehead after the incident.
"Gary has a nasty gash and needs a few stitches, Robbie's lost two teeth and Alex is getting an x-ray on his leg," Neil said.
Kenedy and Diego Costa scored first half goals for the away side before Nathan Redmond struck back after the break.
However, it was not enough for the Canaries, who dropped into the relegation zone on goal difference.
