Burnley defender Michael Duff has announced his retirement from football at the age of 38 after making 383 appearances for the club.
Duff joined from Cheltenham for £30,000 in 2004 and will take up a role with the club's academy.
The former Northern Ireland international, who played 25 times in 2015/16 to help the Clarets secure promotion back to the Premier League next season.
"It's been an honour to represent this football club and to do it with this group of lads this season as champions has been unbelievable," Duff told the club's official website.
"The gaffer [Sean Dyche] rested me earlier in the season and since then we've gone 23 unbeaten so you can't argue with that!
"He also said I could go and play elsewhere or continue working here in the Academy and it's an opportunity I couldn't turn down."
Duff played in the 3-0 win at Charlton on Saturday - a result that ensured they would be promoted as champions - and in doing so moved level with Adam Blacklaw in 13th place on Burnley's all-time appearance list.
Duff, who represented his country on 24 occasions, has now played his part in three promotions to the Premier League during his time at Turf Moor.
