Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth has joined Belgian club Gent on loan until the end of the season.
The Norwegian moved to Selhurst Park in a £9m deal from Danish side Midtjylland 12 months ago, but has struggled in the Premier League, where he has failed to score a goal in 16 appearances.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson admitted earlier this week Sorloth has struggled for confidence since arriving in England.
"He's a much better player than he's been able to show in the games because we see his accuracy every day in training," Hodgson said.
"But for goal-scorers and centre-forwards, confidence does play a big part."
Sorloth becomes the second forward to leave Palace this month, with Jason Puncheon also having departed to join Huddersfield Town on loan.
Palace have scored just 19 Premier League goals so far this season - only Huddersfield and Newcastle United have fewer - and Roy Hodgson says bringing in a new striker in January is the club's top priority.
The Eagles were close to signing Dominic Solanke from Liverpool but pulled out of the move for the striker, who has since joined Bournemouth in a £19m deal.
