Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald on a five-year contract.
The 20-year-old Ajax youth academy product made his debut for the Eredivisie outfit in 2013 and has gone on to make 93 appearances for the club in all competitions.
It was Palace's new boss Frank de Boer who oversaw Riedewald's progression through the Ajax ranks to the first team and his move to London reunites the two.
The versatile Riedewald has featured at centre-back, left-back and defensive midfield in his career to date, and registered the highest pass completion percentage in the Dutch league last season with 92 per cent.
"I am very pleased to be joining Crystal Palace and after speaking with the gaffer a couple of weeks ago I was delighted to have the opportunity to come over and play in the Premier League," Riedewald told the Crystal Palace official website.
"The Premier League is a great competition to be involved in and it is a great opportunity to be working under Frank de Boer once again having been with him at Ajax.
"I look forward to meeting my new team mates and then getting the chance to be out on the training ground and getting ready for the new season."
The defender has featured at U15, U16, U17, U19 and U21 for the Netherlands and has earned three senior caps since making his debut in September 2015.
De Boer added: "Jairo Riedewald is a player I know well through my time at Ajax and I'm glad that he's now coming to join us at Crystal Palace.
"He will be an excellent addition to our squad, Jairo is a young player but already has a lot of experience. I know he is looking forward to playing in the Premier League."
