Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke is to have a scan on the shoulder he injured against Swansea on Tuesday night.
Benteke appeared to suffer the injury when he collided with Swansea 'keeper Lukasz Fabianski during the first half of his side's 2-1 defeat at Selhurst Park.
The Belgium international failed to re-appear at the start of the second period and was replaced by Fraizer Campbell.
Palace expect to know more about Benteke's injury on Thursday once they have examined results of the scan.
The defeat left Sam Allardyce's side in 17th place in the Premier League, just a point above the relegation zone.
Palace's next league game is against West Ham on January 14 following an FA Cup third round date with Bolton on Saturday.
