Crystal Palace have signed youngster Randall Williams on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has been on trial with the Eagles from non-league club Tower Hamlets and his six-month contract has the option of an extension should he continue to impress.
Williams was previously on the books at Tottenham and played in Palace's recent development games against Queens Park Rangers and Crawley Town.
And he said: "Alan Pardew said he wanted to have a look at me so he brought me in to train with the first-team. I played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Crawley Town, and did well there and he liked me.
"I like to drive at players and I'm a quick dribbler. There's areas that I need to work on but that's why I'm here. I just want to better myself.
"To go up nine leagues is a big step, so hopefully the team and everyone around the club can help me improve."
Palace have also recalled Jonny Williams early from his loan at Nottingham Forest, having made 10 appearances for the Championship side.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has made 68 appearances for Palace, was due to return on January 16, having spent most of last season on loan at Ipswich but has returned early and was on the bench for Sunday's clash with Chelsea.
