Newport County will host League Two rivals Plymouth Argyle in a Rodney Parade FA Cup second-round replay following a goalless draw at Home Park.
Plymouth struggled to break down Graham Westley's resolute County, who were reduced to 10 men from the 22nd minute after Sean Rigg was dismissed following a foul on Jake Jervis.
County resorted to a five-man back line for the second half and continually thwarted Derek Adams' shot-shy Green Army.
The home side's best chances came in the first half, notably in the 45th minute when Connor Smith missed a golden close-range opportunity.
David Fox's deep far-post cross from the right was brilliantly turned across the face of goal by Oscar Threlkeld on the bye-line but Smith failed to apply the finishing touch.
In the 17th minute, playmaker Graham Carey should have done better as he connected with Jake Jervis' cross from the right.
However, Carey fired high and wide.
Rhys Healey battled alone in attack for County and forced a couple of last-ditch second-half saves from Argyle keeper Luke McCormick.
